This policy explains what information 2daywebpros (“we”, “us”) collects through 2daywebpros.com and our redesign service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you use the website form: your website address and your email address.
- Your public website: when you submit an address, we load your public homepage to check its speed, mobile setup and code, and to build a redesign. We only access pages anyone can see.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, recorded in server logs and used to stop spam and abuse.
- When you claim a redesign: Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email, billing details and payment status from Stripe, but never your full card number.
- Business contact details for outreach: we find small-business websites that could use a redesign and collect the business's publicly listed contact details (such as name, email address and phone number) from its own website or public directories, so we can send a preview of the redesign.
How we use it
- To run the instant website check and build your redesign preview.
- To email you about the redesign you requested or that we built for your business, including a small number of follow-ups.
- To process payments, launch your site and provide hosting if you buy them.
- To prevent spam, abuse and fraud, and to keep the service secure.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run 2daywebpros, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Hosting: Vultr, which runs our servers and your website preview.
- Payments: Stripe.
- Email: our email provider, to send and receive messages.
- AI services that help us analyze your current site and generate the redesign. They receive your website's public content, not your payment details.
- Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites. After you submit the form, your browser stores the ID of your website check locally so you can return to your results. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data.
How long we keep it
- Website checks and redesign requests: until you ask us to delete them.
- Redesign previews that aren't claimed are taken down about 30 days after we email you about them.
- Payment and customer records: as long as you're a customer, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Server logs: for a limited period, then deleted on a rolling basis.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also stop our emails: reply “unsubscribe” to any message from us or email hello@2daywebpros.com, and we won't contact you again.
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email hello@2daywebpros.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit who can access our systems, and protect internal tools with access keys. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Children
2daywebpros is a service for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll let customers know by email.
